Thoughts on the 2nd half

1. Eddie House was key in the 2nd half for the C's. LA couldn't double off him like they do with Rondo.

2. The referees stole the game.

3. This Finals is still yet to see the proverbial series-defining hard foul (which I told my wife would happen after the 1st quarter).

4. Sasha Vujacic is a poor man's John Starks -- emotional, streaky and has a chip on each shoulder.

5. Posey is the most valuable player off either bench. He goes after all the loose balls, defends and keeps the defense honest with his outside shooting.

6. Ray on Kobe in the final minute ... what's "Doc" thinking!?!

7. Pierce lost the game for the C's. looked uninterested and like he didn't care.

Pierce never found his rhythm. Whether he was nervous playing in front of his family (He grew up in Inglewood) or the early, all-game foul trouble ... he wasn't "in" the game. I did think he was hit on his drive to the hoop late in the 4th that wasn't called _ Jeff

You're probably right - pierce has never played in front of his family before and was nervous.

On that stage, you know Pierce wanted to perform well; but it definitely seemed as though the refs may have taken him out of his rhythm with the foul calls _Jeff

Wonder if the refs will start consistently calling those sick illegal screens Kevin "f-bomb" Garnett keeps setting out there???
