Say it ain't so ...
Manny to LA ...
at least it's the Dodgers and not the Angels; although Torre is a former Yankee ...
Manny was going to leave at the end of the season, at least Boston got something for him. I would have preferred another world championship but I guess all-star Jason Bay isn't a bad consolation prize.
Who knows, maybe Bay can bring new focus, energy, excitement & MIDDLE RELIEF PITCHING ...

What IF Manny's MRI on his knee wasn't/isn't really negative ...
... I try to avoid conspiracy theories, though I find responses to them amusing.
As for Manny being traded, I liken it to a popular radio host who stated the Lakers would never/could never trade Kobe Bryant because they wouldn't get anything in return close to his worth.
Right now, I think that's the same with Manny.
