1st Place

The Boston Red Sox have reclaimed the top spot in the AL East. They are so deep that last year's utility player Eric Hinske (who I bought an autographed baseball at a non-profit church camp silent auction for $35.00) was the "Top Batter" for Tampa Bay.

I understand Hinske isn't a perennial all-star or even a household name.

But even with "Papi" out and knowing he can't be replaced by anyone in baseball, the Red Sox have the luxury (some may say that only money can buy) to be deep enough to compete and send utility players to be other teams top performers.

Red Sox repeat!?!
