C.J. KNUDSEN

2010 mark's C.J.'s fifteenth season in Minor League Baseball. He started his career in 1995 as an intern with the Vermont Expos of the New York-Penn League, before graduating from Keene State College in 1996 with a B.S. in Physical Education, specializing in Sport Management.

Knudsen served as the General Manager of the Vermont Expos/Lake Monsters from June 2000 to November 2009.

Knudsen was the recipient of the 2006 Robert Julian Community & Baseball Service Award, an honor given by the New York-Penn League to an individual for their contributions to both their community and to baseball. In 2003, he was also recognized for his work by receiving the New York-Penn League Executive of the Year award.

Knudsen was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and raised in Burlington, Vermont. He spends his "limited" free time with his family and friends, fishing, skiing, traveling and frequently playing a bad round of golf.
